Our Sustainability

We value Sustainability as our leading principle, and are keen to share the following actions that drive towards this principle. Our products and processes are all pcertified by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance, Good Cashmere Standard and Global Organic Textile Standard, and we are delighted to supply certified sustainable cashmere according to any of these three standards.

Animal Welfare

We enforce a set animal welfare practice code that our farmer suppliers must follow to ensure goats are bred, raised and combed in a cruelty-free way. We also cooperate with local government and Chinese NGOs to protect the welfare of goats herds and herdsmen’ during extreme weather conditions.

Preserve the Environment

We enforce the rule that each goat herd has the space of between 10,000-35,000 square metres of grassland to graze.

Maximise Staff Wellbeing

We are committed to our staff wellbeing. Each staff member is offered a full pension, free accommodation for themselves and their families, and three free daily meals.

Full Traceability

We are always able to identify which individual farm our materials originates from from. Traceability has always been maintained and recorded throughout the production process, as each cashmere herd is assigned a unique ID.

Our Product

We pride ourselves in sourcing only the highest quality and sustainable cashmere from regions of Alashan, Etuoke Qi and Yulin in China.

Fibre Diameter

We are able to supply and process fibre down to 15.0 microns wide.

Fibre Length

We are able to supply and process dehaired fibre up to 40 milimetres long and combed cashmere top of up to 48 milimetres long.

Colour Quality

We supply white for white fibre which allows for a maximum of 1 dark fibre and a maximum of 5 fawn per 5 grams of cashmere fibre.

Full management control

We work with trusted partners throughout the entire cashmere production processes, namely: first and second sorting and scouring, dehairing and combing.

Commitment towards sustainability

We are working towards receiving multiple accreditations from leading cashmere sustainability certifiers, including SFA, GCS and others.

Refined operation

We are able to process an annual capacity of 200 tonnes of dehaired cashmere and 60 tonnes of combed cashmere top.
